Blind Badger Ranch
Motivated person needed for a full-time hay operation. Responsibilities include planting, irrigating center pivots, harvesting and delivering alfalfa and grass hay.
Located south of Fort Morgan, Colorado
Required:
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in hay production
- Ability and proficiency in determining desired condition of hay for swathing and baling
- Operate & properly maintain hay equipment, including swathers, rakes, balers, and loaders
- Valid driver’s license; & willing to maintain a good driving record
- Extended work hours required
Preferred:
- Must be able to organize and supervise others.
- Ability to get along with other people.
- The ability to drive heavy trucks.
We are looking for an individual that is knowledgeable with hay, self-motivated, responsible, dependable and trustworthy. Someone that has a good attitude and can run their own crew, is willing to take direction and someone who can work alone at times. We run good equipment and have good facilities. We are a reputable operation and looking for an individual that would be an asset to our team!
Wages are negotiable and depend on experience. Housing could be provided. A paid vacation is included in the salary.
