50-acre equine ranch estate in Carbondale CO (owned by long-time, year-round couple) is seeking an excellent, proactive, detail-oriented, full-time, live-out Property Caretaker with long-term intent to provide hands-on service for estate facilities, grounds, vehicles, machinery and snow and trash removal.
Position reports to the Household Manager and Principal.
Full-time team-members include Household Manager, Housekeeper and several Horse and Barn Caretakers who handle all things related to the complete care and well-being of quarter horses and the 8-stall barn. The position of Property Caretaker is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on outside work in a calm and serene mountain setting, providing exceptional private service to appreciative and down-to-earth employers. Familiarity with horses is a big plus.
Pay ranges between $35-$45/hour (gross) based on experience and the comprehensive compensation package includes PTO, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) and an annual bonus opportunity.
The general schedule is full-time Monday-Friday 8am-4:00pm with after-hours availability for snow removal and emergencies.
7+ years experience preferred.
