Cow calf operation. Produce weaned calves for sale, raise hay for use on ranch.
General Duties:
- Work with owners family in day to day operation
- Maintain barbwire fence
- Help with cattle work, riding, branding, weaning, calving, etc.
- Feed cows during winter months
- Weed control
- Maintain equipment, basic repairs and maintenance
- Help harvest hay
- Help maintain yard and grounds
- Building repair and maintenance
Work 6 days a week, when feeding cows 1/2 day on Sunday
Compensation: $2,200 per month DOE
Housing (including utilities) provided
Meat provided, usually hamburger, occasionally pork or other beef
Basic local land line telephone, long distance your responsibility
