Montgomery Creek Ranch, a 2,000 acre wild horse sanctuary and training facility in Northern California, is looking for a rider to handle and start our young horses. We are looking for a slow (no 30 day starts here, it takes as long as it takes), patient, methodical, kind, colt starter that will instill confidence in our young horses and create a safe, gentle riding horse.

The position includes a competitive salary, health insurance, housing, utilities, wifi, board for two personal horses, two days a week off, a sane work schedule, discretionary yearly raises and bonuses, and probably a few exciting moments here and there as we have 200+ resident wild horses that we bring in for hoof trimming twice a year.
