Fox Cattle Co.
The Regenerative Ranching Summer Internship (April – November) is a paid educational opportunity that provides broad exposure and experience for individuals interested in regenerative ranching systems. This program is designed to offer hands-on experience, as well as formal sit-down learning sessions for a complete learning experience. Over the summer, interns gain introductory experience in land and soil stewardship, animal husbandry, regenerative cattle grazing techniques and ranch business management principles.
Regenerative Ranching Interns work primarily with the ranch’s owners to care for the ranch and its animals. Fox Cattle Co. approaches ranching and land management holistically and therefore works to optimize the soil and animal health to form a sustainable business model for generations to come.
About Fox Cattle Co.
Fox Cattle Co is a 4,500-acre cattle ranch in the east-central area of Saskatchewan, Canada. Our family team uses a well-established system of landscape management in support of our business and production goals. Our system centers around adaptive multi-paddock grazing of both perennial and annual forage crops. The primary tools in this system are comprised of 300 mother cows and 400 grass cattle. These aspects combine into a Regenerative Ranching Initiative that demonstrates the practices and benefits of regenerative beef production.
