HELP WANTED
Job Title: Ranch Hand seasonal (Nov 1 to May 1) or possible Full time position

DESCRIPTION
Hiatus Ranch is a smaller 40 acre operation located 45 minutes of Twin Falls, ID. We are in search of an experienced and dependable ranch hand (or one willing and eager to learn) feed & water livestock every morning followed by general ranch work as well as kidding, lambing, & calving season. We currently have goats, sheep, horses, minnis, donkeys, alpaca, cows, turkeys, chickens, pigs, and a few other rescues. There is no “normal day “, each day presents its new challenges. The main priority each day is feed water care of the animals first! Then projects such as fence building, building repairs , cleaning up the ranch, and other task to get it ready for the next participants next year.

QUALIFICATIONS, NOT LIMITED TO:
- Calving Experience
- Lambing/kidding
- Herd Health
- Able to ride a horses and be handy with a rope
- Recognizing, diagnosing and treating sick livestock
- Knowledge about feeding livestock
- Standard ranching maintenance
- Self-starting and able to follow instructions
- Must have a valid driver’s license
