Assist another employee with handling mares and foals for breeding, sale prepping yearlings and general care. Help with stall maintenance, feeding and barn maintenance.
Also be in charge of landscaping barn areas, mowing pastures, shed maintenance, and unload large bales of hay with front end loader.
Job is 5 1/2 to 6 days per week depending on season.
A 2 bedroom duplex with all utilities paid on farm is available. Must be experienced with horses. Yearlings not always easy to handle. The care and safety of our horses is our primary concern.
This position can be long term for the right individual.
