Genoa Livestock is a family-owned registered Hereford operation located in Carson Valley, NV – about 1 hour south of Reno. You can learn about us at www.genoalivestock.com. We are not a “cowboy” operation, so if you want to ride ‘n rope, we aren’t for you.
Responsibilities:
* In conjunction with owners, manage all ranch operations including: livestock management and marketing, A.I. breeding program, ranch facilities and field maintenance, hay field irrigation and production, supervision of ranch staff and work projects.
Qualifications:
Ranch and registered herd management experience; excellent herd health skills; strong A.I. success rate; bull marketing and sales experience; hay production experience; customer service mentality; good organizational and communication skills. Some Spanish helpful but not required.
Compensation:
We are offering a very competitive salary, health insurance, on-ranch housing & utilities; use of ranch truck; 2 weeks vacation/yr. Details provided to qualified candidates.
