Flying Resort Ranches
Flying Resort Ranches is hiring guest ranch lodge staff for the 2021 summer/fall season. The Flying B is located in Idaho’s wilderness on the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. We are a remote wilderness guest recreational ranch looking for adventurous people not afraid of working hard and pitching in when needed. This position allows for 5 consecutive days off a month.
Salary range is $1900 to $2200 per month. Housing, food, Wi-Fi and flights between Salmon, Idaho and the Flying B are also included. Our company adheres to a strict substance abuse policy. Positions require motivation, responsibility and stamina. Having an excellent work ethic, a pleasant, positive attitude and the ability to interact well with others, including guests and other staff, is a must! Looking to fill all positions as soon as possible.
Positions needed to fill include:
Prep Cook – Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Prep Cook will assist and work directly under the supervision of the Head Cook
- Prepping and preparing 3 meals a day, as well as baking bread/desserts/cookies/etc., for up to 50 guests and staff. Meals are buffet/family style.
- Menu planning
- Grocery ordering
- Inventory rotation
- Tracking of meals served and inventory
- Cleaning – includes dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, etc.
- Helping other staff/departments as needed
Store Clerk – Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Sales
- Store organization
- Product displays
- Stocking shelves/freight
- Inventory rotation
- Ordering
- Bookkeeping – cash and sales reports, guest billing and inventory tracking/reports
- Cleaning
- Helping other staff/departments as needed
Housekeeping – Duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning and stocking supplies in 7 cabins, including but not limited to bedding, bathrooms/shower house, floors, dusting and laundry
- Reporting to the general manager any damages as well as supplies to be ordered
- Helping other staff/departments as needed
