Seeking a Ranch Foreman for 3,000-acre ranch Northwest of Fort Worth, Texas. Looking for an individual with exceptional skills with cattle, horses, and machinery. Cow/calf operation has continued to grow along with cutting horse operation, and this is a new position that has not been available before. Integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and five years of experience a must. “Non-smoker, great values, and loves to work” should describe you, and your skills should include:
Ability to sort, brand, doctor, and report on cattle. Willingness to assist with horse maintenance, barn and stall maintenance, horse grooming and exercise. Good working knowledge of haying and repairing ranch equipment and ability to bale. Ability to make electrical, plumbing, and welding repairs. General ranch maintenance and direct reporting to a tenured Ranch Manager.
Must rotate to cover weekends with Ranch Manager. Exceptional living accommodations provided for an individual or family, with covered facility for a personal horse. Opportunity to work with great folks. Part-time work for spouse available, if desired, but not required. References and background checks prior to hire. Salary based on experience.
