Beautiful 100+ acre horse ranch needs a new manager, horse and dog caretaker.
Former first class event horse training facility with 32 horses boarded and a dog rescue.
Now we have about 7 retired horses and 3 horses to ride. A few minis and 4 Donkeys.
No horses showing at the moment, but we do allow periodic training clinics to be held at the ranch on the outdoor jumps, dressage arena and lighted arena.
We have 17 dogs currently looking for homes that live in kennels, 2 barn cats, Geese and few chickens.
Very nice environment and friendly people.
Current manager of 10 years will show you what needs to be done. He is leaving permanently in 3 weeks.
Candidate is kind to animals and genuinely cares about their well being and happiness.
You must be willing to work very hard as needed to care for these animals and help maintain the ranch.
Someone that does not need to be told what to do and does his job well with pride. You would never say “That is not my job”. We want a team player.
Living accommodations negotiable, salary negotiable. There is a 1 bedroom barn apartment in the barn and a 1 bedroom manager’s house.
Must speak English and have a car.
No drugs and prefer a non-smoking, non-drinker. Couple is not preferred but OK for the right people. Local candidates preferred.
Must have experience with horses and dogs.
Must be dependable, Honest, drug free and willing to submit to a drug and background check.
Looking for someone to stay at least 2 years or longer.
