We are looking for a full time hand for our family run farm & ranch in Northeast Montana. We farm about 3,000 acres of small grains and run a cow calf operation of about 350 pair.
We are looking for a handy person to help with all aspects involved in a ranch & farm including but not limited to: calving, fencing, checking fence/water, maintenance, seeding, haying, and harvesting.
There is a 3 bed 2 ba house in the country included for housing, a ranch vehicle & beef. This person needs to be a self starter, motivated, willing to learn & listen, as well as see what needs to be done without being told every second.
A single fellow, couple, or family would be welcome to apply. Must have a valid drivers license, be drug free, and not a drunk. A CDL is ideal but not necessary. We are willing to teach someone if you can pick things up easily.- This is not a cowboy job, although we do utilize horses, we also use side by sides.
Pay depending on experience– There would be the possibility of running your own cattle along with ours for someone who is looking to get their start for someone who wants to stay long term.
