ARRR Rescue and Retirement Ranch
We are seeking an experienced ranch hand to work part-time on a rescue ranch located just outside of Williston, ND. Includes a small, semi-furnished apartment with paid utilities. This is an all seasons, long-term position. Hourly wage DOE.
Duties include animal care (providing water, feed, medications, cleaning and the like) for rescued and retired farm animals. Currently we have horses, donkeys, pigs, sheep, goats, chickens, ducks and cats. Basic knowledge/skills in mechanical and carpentry areas are a plus.
Estimated hours are 15 to 30 hours per week and the possibility of being called on to help in emergencies.
Also there will be times when the full-time hand is unavailable to work. The part-time person will be asked to fill in.
Living quarters: 1-bedroom, ground level, semi-furnished apartment in a shared house. Not fancy but appliances are only about five years old, and the flooring and windows are new.
We expect all employees to be honest, reliable, trustworthy, kind, sober and clean while working, and to demonstrate maturity. This job will also require some heavy lifting and ability to handle equipment such as a skidsteer.
