Pasion Iberica Ranch
We are a small family-owned start-up with two locations an hour apart: Johnson City and Cherokee, TX. We are looking for a full-time ranch hand for Johnson City who is able to work in Cherokee periodically. This person must be a jack-of-all-trades who can follow direction and is not afraid of daily manual work outdoors.
We cannot offer housing or help with relocation, so the ideal candidate already lives in or wants to move to Johnson City, Marble Falls, Llano, Cherokee, Fredericksburg, etc.
We produce top quality free-range animals to be sold for high-end meat. We breed and grow the animals to early adults in Johnson City; then relocate them to our larger farm until they reach market size.
Some experience handling farm animals and doing general ranch or construction work is a must. Must be in good physical condition as this job consists solely of physical labor.

Full time
This is a full-time job. Could be 5 to 7 days per week depending on the needs at the farms, and on the individual’s availability – we are willing to work with the hand’s schedule.
Responsibilities
Help in either farm as directed
- Help build, monitor for damage and repair fences, animal pens and water systems
- Help build and maintain roads clear, and in general good condition
- Help build ranch structures such as facilities, fences, drainage systems, wells and roads
- Monitor, maintain clean and repair barns, facilities and machinery
- Clear and maintain fields
Help care for animals as directed
- Feed animals
- Keep pastures and farrowing pens clean
- Point out any health, safety or other concerns to manager
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum of 5 consecutive years of physical work outdoors
- Experience with construction or similar labor – not just mowing lawns and landscaping
- Basic English
- Some experience handling farm animals
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Pass a background check and periodic drug tests
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
