Motivated Cattleman with over 35 years experience in managing all aspects of cattle operations, horse barns as well as employees.
As a former cow/calf owner/operator, my experience ranges from running a 300 head cow/calf, 1,500 yearlings, and a 23,000 head feedlot.
Experience includes: gathering, sorting, branding (both electric and hot), castrating, dehorning, and vaccinating. Additionally, supplemental feeding, and shipping (coordinating the truck's arrival, gather and branding inspector's attendance, 'shrink") as well as budgeting, time management of various crews.
Pasture Fence Maintenance: Run, build, stretch and repair all fencing including water gaps, both dry and irrigated. Skills also include the management of check irrigation.
Availability: I am available for an immediate job placement where I can utilize my extensive experience and a lifelong passion for the cattle industry.
Goal: Would be to assist in the profitability and efficiency of any operation that I am trusted with.
As an open-minded person, I am always open to learning new things and believe there is always room to grow.
