Howdy y'all!
In search of Farm hand/ Ranch hand positions with housing in Montana for my son and I. Currently working in the mountains of Washington on a small family farm, and have been around/on the farm since 2013. I love it here but I'm looking to further my career and drive forward.
I can drive tractor (all aspects of making hay and planting pasture grass) drive truck and trailer, mend fence, build fence, basic mechanic skills. I have experience in construction labor, and some machine operating time, spent 2 years in a lumber mill.
I left my higher paying mill job to pursue farming and a better life for my son. I currently tend to 2 farms, 20 head of beef cattle and 20+ flock of sheep…one milk cow too. I have experience with calving and lambing, along with doctoring hurt/sick animals. I prefer to work independently but can take direction and work with others too.
I want to get CDL and want to learn to rope and ride. If you are willing to teach I am willing learn. I have very basic riding skills and my own saddle, my own truck and my own tractor.
I am a single mother, self starter and independent. Will be in need of housing and hoping to find a family oriented place. I will provide resume, pictures and references upon request.
I'm willing to put in the time, hours, and hard work if you will give me and my son a chance.
