The Triple C Ranch and Nature Center (the last farm of its kind in central New Jersey), owned and managed by the Edison Wetlands Association (EWA) which cares for a wide-array of rescued farm animals, is seeking dedicated, hard-working, and spirited farm animal care part-time employees
Triple C Ranch employees enjoy the serene natural oasis, the Dismal Swamp Conservation Area (DSCA), which surrounds the farm and provides an ethereal backdrop to the rewarding responsibility of caring for the ranch’s rescued farm animals, each with his or her own unique story and personality. Boasting many other potential opportunities, such as assisting with EWA and Triple C Ranch events, school programs, and field trips, as well as bird-watching and hiking through the ranch’s network of trails on one’s break, this animal care position is a fulfilling experience to all who join the herd.
Looking for: Animal care and general maintenance at 206 Tyler Road, Edison, NJ 08820. Some physical labor required. Must be comfortable working with farm animals (i.e. goats, chickens, ponies). All staff members must be at least 18 years of age, and have three references for application from previous employers (preferably at least one reference from an employer in an animal care field). Animal care experience should consist of more than working with dogs, cats, or small animals. Candidates with a degree in animal care/animal science helpful but not required. At least one week of hands-on job training will be provided to all staff members.
