Black Diamond Angus Ranch
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist us with our 600 head cattle ranch. Experience is preferred but not required for the right person. Most cattle work is done with horses, so riding experience is preferred. Experience in the use of farm and livestock equipment as well as its maintenance is preferred. Responsibilities include all aspects related to the care of the cow-calf herd, facilities, grazing infrastructure, and haying operation. The Assistant Livestock Herdsman reports to the Owner/Manager. Work schedule is variable and includes some work on weekends and holidays and is based on an average 6 day workweek. A degree or certificate in a livestock or crop educational program is desirable but not required. Must be able to effectively communicate in English. A good attitude, willingness to be flexible, good work ethic, and a commitment to achieving the goals of Black Diamond Angus Ranch is essential.
